5 Essential Oils For Love

   Nutmeg's allure is intoxicating. It is said that Nutmeg can help the spirit soften fears, encourages self-esteem, and dissolves sadness to bring happier moods.
5. Jasmine Oil
   
    Jasmine is associated with love. It also symbolizes beauty, sensuality is used in many love mixtures for it's ability to attract physical and spiritual love.

Spirituality vs Reality

Many people have their own definition of what spirituality is. I scoured the internet to find a definition that resonated with me. "Spirituality is a broad concept with room for many perspectives. In general, it includes a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves, and it typically involves a search for meaning in life." For me, that has got to be the best description of spirituality.

I was talking to someone several years ago before my spiritual journey began, and she said "OH I sense that you are really spiritual." I replied with "oh yes, I go to church consistently." She laughed and said that is not what she meant nor is it what she sensed. While that was not the beginning of my spiritual journey, it was certainly the beginning of my understanding of the meaning.

When people say they are spiritual, others look at them like their lives are all gravy. Like all that spiritual people do is light candles, meditate and do yoga. The reality of a spiritual journey is FAR from that. I mean there are some yoga days, meditation and Saging going on but for the most part, being spiritual is experiencing life from a holistic perspective and learning how to react and respond to all that life has to offer.

As I journeyed down my spiritual path, I experienced a LOT of lessons. Some were tough and painful while others were quick and painless. Some lessons repeated themselves. I viewed everything and everyone from a different perspective. The real reality of spirituality is that it looks different for everyone. Everyone's experiences and journeys are different. My whole reality of the world had changed. How I watched TV and movies changed. I would go to the movies with someone and after say "OMG did you see how the main character did X,Y, and Z? And the person would look at me and say NO, and ask how did I arrive at that? LOL

I became an ordained minister in September of 2014 and added that title to the NUBODI business. I felt like people thought I was a preacher or some scripture quoting person from how people responded to what they saw. For me, I didn't feel like the title of ordained minister reflected who I was as a person or how I wanted to interact with clients. I researched spirituality and reviewed my experiences to later change the title from Ordained Minister to Spiritual Advisor. That title fit me more with who I was becoming and the journey I had been on. Many people responded to that title more positively than the latter.

For me, to be spiritual is to be in tune with self, with spirit and to strengthened my relationship with my spirit. I have developed programs to coach people on beginning their spiritual journey as well as constructed unique ways to counsel individuals through spiritual direction. Energy drinks vs ENERGY Drinks

Growing up as an athlete, Gatorade was THEE sports drink. You weren't considered a REAL athlete unless you had a few bottles in your workout bag. Now, there are so many energy drinks to choose from, it can get confusing as to what is what. So let me give you my clever perspective on energy drinks. The commercials boasted about how it gives you energy and fills up with electrolytes.

Most of the energy drinks are loaded with sugar and caffeine. With such a jolt from all of that sugar and caffeine, you are sure to get a buzz. The loaded caffeine and sugar, quickly spikes up your blood levels in addition to the adrenals only to bring you back down just as quick. 

By coming down so quickly, the body becomes sluggish and craves for more. Before you know it, you are drinking another can of sugar and caffeine to bring you back up. This cycle can put wear and tear on the adrenals and blood sugar levels to the point of causing damage. Very few brands of energy drinks contain any of the necessary vitamins and minerals that you need to sustain the momentum you have without drinking more.

There are all natural drinks out that offer the energy you need to get your through the day and add the necessary vitamin and minerals you need. Green drinks for example, depending on what’s in them, can provide a full serving of fruits and vegetables, fiber and in some cases even protein. Forms of Blessings

Blessings come in many forms and sometimes they can be hard to identify if you are looking for your blessing in an a specific form.

One time around a Thanksgiving when I was unemployed, I was trying to manifest money to buy food. I didn't tell anyone that I needed food or that I didn't have money for food because I thought my circumstances would have have changed by then. So I'm trying to work my mojo and manifest some money for a NICE Thanksgiving feast and nothing is happening. I'm getting frustrated and nervous as I was a single parent and the sole provider. A day had passed and someone called to say that their church had extra Thanksgiving baskets left but it didn't come with a turkey and did I know anyone who needed one. I said well I need one and she said ok I will be by tomorrow. The next day I was still frustrated that I had not manifested money when I received another call from my neighbor who said she had to go out of town unexpectedly and had a frozen turkey that she couldn't take with her and did I want it? I said absolutely. My Thanksgiving feast was coming together but I couldn't see that because I was still trying to manifest money. Sitting on the floor feeling sorry for myself, I was guided to look at someone on the television talking about the difference between cash and money. He said cashis coins or notesand money is the assets, property, and resources owned by someone or something. I had gotten exactly what I asked for which was money for food, anything of monetary value, in the form of the food given to me. I learned a very valuable lesson back then which was one, I was a great manifester and two, to be aware of my words. Words have power. As a spiritual advisor I have assisted many people since then in reflecting on issues from a holistic perspective through spiritual guidance.

Rule 21

They say that 21 days of implementing a positive change, creates a habit and after 90 days of consistency, that positive change becomes a life style change.



Every year for years, I would write out my new year resolutions, which according to Wikipedia, is a tradition, "where a person resolves to change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal or otherwise improve their life." For most, resolutions do not work and here is the reason why. If it is a habit that you are trying to change, you have to change the habit with a positive habit with discipline and purpose. The reason my resolutions did not work for me, was because I just had a list of things I wanted to change but didn't have the discipline for positive change or a new habit and positive habit that I was changing the old habit into. After I learned the S.M.A.R.T. goal method, I learned how to attach the habit to a goal to achieve a better outcome and results. Transition

Transitions can be hard… for everyone. Whether it is transitioning from a job to another job, or from a relationship that was dear to your heart, or the loss of a loved one, they all have some level of discomfort. The change that one undergoes in transitioning can also bring fear as you are forced to step outside of your comfort zone to move forward. Iam someone who is very routine and comfortable in my routines so much so that when I am thrown out of my routine and comfort, I am not a happy camper.

I’ve recently gone through my own transition where I went from full time employment to full time self-employment.  There was a lot of emotion involved. First there was excitement. The beginning of a new adventure. Then the hard work starts to kick in and a new emotion arises, stress. As I am getting over the hump of all of the work that I have put in and I can see the trees for the forest, another emotion kicks in, uncertainty.  As I continue through my transition and the range of emotions, I can see my transition from a different perspective that is no longer daunting. Having the holistic and spiritual background helped me to see my own crap differently and allowed me to move forward with confidence. It takes some time and reflection to move through a transition such as that but it cane be done.
